Cathedral Village, a nonprofit, nondenominational and multicultural CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community) is located in the residential neighborhood of Andorra in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  Since opening in 1979, our Board of Directors, management and staff, have dedicated their time and efforts to creating a unique, active, and secure environment for our residents.   

Built on 40 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, Cathedral Village is committed to enhancing the quality of life for each resident while encouraging them to maintain their independence.  Our number one priority has always been our residents’ safety and well being. 

We are proud of our Extensive Type A Contract, which is considered to be one of the best and most comprehensive contracts in the Retirement industry.  Most other communities’ fees do not cover as many services that we include in our Monthly Fee.  The list of services that we include is quite substantial and each is explained in greater detail on the following pages.  To name a few, we offer:

• 24-hour, 7 days a week staffed Outpatient Department
• Unlimited stays in our Skilled Nursing Facility and Alzheimer’s Unit

• 24-hour staffed and on-call in-house Maintenance staff
